  3. Principal’s Report - Mrs. Robinette

    1. Strategic Vision meeting 2/16 at 5:30 at hs

    2. Centennial committee meeting 2/28 at 5:30 at hs

    3. Girls on the Run desperately needs coaches

      1. Currently has 2 parent and 3 teacher volunteers but could use more. If you are interested please reach out!

  4. Update on Unfinished Business - Katherine

    1. Proposed positions and committees

      1. Fundraising- Work closely with the community to secure services and donations.

      2. Event- Coordinates and oversee events

      3. Communications- We need someone interested in running our social media in order to reach more people in our school community

    2. Auction - Becky

      1. Flyers- Attached to email, please feel free to reach out to any local businesses or individuals that you think would be willing to donate items to our auction!

      2. List of contacts: 2022-2023 Silent Auction Contacts -If you secure a donation please add it to our list!

      3. UofM requires $35 for their “donation” do we want to do this?- We are going to try it for this year and see if it is worth it. Motion approved

      4. Motion approved to pay for the auction site

      5. More great item suggestions mentioned include Principal for a day, family specific perks like vip seating to events, over the phone/zoom bedtime call from a favorite teacher

    3. Weeding books and reorganizing library - Katie

      1. Tuesday or Wednesday morning available if anyone is willing to help weed outdated, bad condition, and harmful books from the library please let me know at brickelementarypto@gmail.com

    4. Brick Buck Cart and Staff Lounge -Katie

  5. New Business

    1. February and March Activities - Katherine

      1. Becky - Valentine's Day beads ordered. Deadline to return forms and money 2/9. Kids will get beads EOD 2/13.

      2. NAAPID 2/13- Meet the PTO board 9:15-10- Michelle- We will have pastries if anyone wants to come meet us and hear about what we do!

      3. STEM Fun Day Feb. 24th (Title 1)...Parents in STEM come in to talk about their job or send a picture for our Brick STEM Family Board..Volunteers to help transport students to the different classrooms (Michelle) -If you can help chaperone group of students around the building please sign up here! https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0E4BACAE28A3FECE9-stem

      4. Family Literacy Night March 9th (Title 1)- Superhero theme

      5. Book fair March 13-17…attach to dance?- Michelle- Sign up genius to go out soon for volunteers. Also hoping to have one evening open for families to shop together!

      8. Next PTO meeting 3/8/23

    2. Spring Fling dance in April…possible dates: April 28 or May 12

      1. Decided on April 28 from 5:30-7:30 in cafeteria

      2. Student Council representative suggested a Hawaiian theme

      3. Will need small water bottles, pizza, and the popcorn machine. Maybe figure out how to run our snow cone machine?

      4. Student council can make some of the decorations and the photobooth backdrop

      5. Becky will donate her photography skills and backdrop stand

      6. Need a dj and volunteers for the different stations to assist the student council members

      7. Entrance price $1 or a new hygiene item donated for Brick Pantry

    3. Brick Bash: June 1st rain date June 2nd: Bass Bounce Houses??

    4. Staff requests

      1. Ms Barrick needs peg board with 30 dowels and a 3 or 5 gallon bucket with lid to sanitize recorders if anyone has one to donate-Needs these by next week

    5. Announcements and Questions

      1. Stickers from design contest have been ordered and should be in soon
